Melisa set the bar pretty high for the 3 ball. Man she was awesome to watch. That being said Kali, Ally, Whitney, Tania, Christina are all capable to knock the 3 down at any time their in the game. Couple that with Alexa's hot streak and lookout. We lost a lot due to graduation but I believe this team along with the incoming class will keep us in the top of the BIG. Looking forward to watching them improve with every game. Go Hawks!

Lots of players have stepped up to get Iowa back up to 19th in the country. Chase Coley and Megan Gustafson have both stepped up big on the inside. Carley Mohns has contributed a lot of productive minutes at forward. Kali and Ally continue to be great. As I mentioned before Alexa Kastanek is shooting red hot! Tania Davis had come in and has not disappointed. Her and Whitney Jennings have been a top notch point guard duo. This is a reloading year not a rebuilding year. They go into Lames and win by 12!
