Since I am a gorilla guido, I certainly care about point spreads. Since I do not believe in jinxes (only morons do), what do all y'all think the Iowa MSU point spread will be on Friday? My guess is Iowa +4

Not only do I hope we "fool around" with northwestern, I hope we molest the heck out of them. I hope we bend them over the foul line and spank them a bit, then talk dirty to them for a while before we do them prison style in the 2nd half. Then we never return their phone call. That would be satisfying and should be rewarded with a 10 seed in the tourney

I don't know what the opening spread will be but this is what I predict it will be at game time.

That's not a good sign. Joe Prole money usually comes in first and seems to be laying heavy on teh Hawks. Now, if the line moves down more towards the end of the day and close to tip off that would be a good sign.
That's not true, if the smart money sees a line open at what they feel is a value, they are going to pound that right away.

This. I was thinking around 7, but the half-point eliminates the push, so I'll go with this.

This. Sharps are always out to get the best line. If they feel like the best line is the early one, they jump.
Now, if they felt that line was going to go down and they like MSU, they wait. I don't see how the betting "public" isn't all about MSU on this one, anyway.
