Well, not quite, but certainly more entertaining.

Cast of Characters:

KF as Colonel Jessup (Jack Nicholson's lines, as dramatically portrayed by Charles Barkley?)
Jon Miller as Lt. Caffee as portrayed by Jon Gruden?

Substitute the following words in place of the movie words:

Guns => Guts
Marines => Hawkeyes
Santiago = CJ
Santiago's death => CJ's Thursday practice
Lives => Games
Wall => Sideline
Code Red => Run to the left side for 0 yards on 3rd and 8

I hope this doesn't get me banned....feel free to make your own suggestions.:D

KF would probaby start Rich Little ahead of Frank Caliendo. Frank would never see the stage unless Rich suddenly came down with laryngitis. Or graduated. Whichever came first.

Dolph- "Coach what did you think about Frank's performance tonight. He really brought down the house. Even made Saban laugh. Now correct me if I'm wrong coach but I believe Saban sharted from so much laughter."

KF- "I'm just glad Frank performed better than he practiced in front of the mirror Thursday night."

Eddie- "But coach sometimes it's about how you perform on the big stage under the lights."

KF- "Well but the mirror didn't laugh."

Editor's note- Rich Little was a little known 2* recruit coming out of Improv. A much better story.

That's solid work.

Credit to you for the "We're talkin' 'bout practice, man" by "Morgan Freeman" clip, it got me thinking about the things that KF values over everything else. And since I commented about "honor, code, and loyalty" in a serious vein, I thought this was the perfect clip to take away some of the Iowa angst.

It's not that I don't value those same things, but we're talkin' football..., which is meant to be entertainment.
