Pre-Game Body Language

Just curious if anyone else noticed both Clemons and White YAWNING! during pre-game warm-ups against UNI. I am not into player or coach bashing but come on guys you are about to play a major college game in front of a lot of fans. The adrenaline must have really been pumping...
 
Actually, yawning is very common when someone is excited/pumped up. It's a way to get the body more oxygen it needs as systems fire up. Just like when you're tired, the body slows down and doesn't take in enough oxygen, so you yawn.
 
Noticed Clemmons yawning as the camera zoomed in on him right before the tip off. Didn't catch White. That might explain their performance against that team. I still say no way they should have lost to UNI this year.

I noticed on both. It may be normal But it didn't give me much confidence

Not being that guy, but what have you seen consistently in this group that makes you think Iowa is a better team?
 
UNI is a much better "team" right now. More balanced. More disciplined. More fundamentally sound. Did a great job of running their sets to get open 3's. Their guard court is head and shoulders better than Iowa's right now. Ben's got himself a contender for the Mo. Valley crown although Wichita State is still very tough.

In college basketball, a team has to be considerably better than their opponent before you can say "no way should they lose". Iowa is definitely not considerably better than UNI unfortunately.
 
If the opposite happened, and players were super fired up before games and we lost, y'all would complain about being too tight.

They were coming off finals week. May have had some all-nighters.
