Potential 2015 Recuit - Goldman

This guy looks to have it. Uthoff/Uhl type player. Long and lean, with a Great shot. He would mesh well with the Hawks.

Im willing to give up some size if we can spread the floor with shooters and this kid seems to have a good stroke for a big man.

Understandable but you cant spread the floor if you cant rebound and get it to an outlet. In the B1G you needs size to rebound.

Yes, you do need size. And this kid has size. He is still growing too.

Uthoff can clean the glass, he is one of our best rebounders. Shandon fits the mold.

He shoots 42% from the 3pt land. That may drop with the increased competition, or maybe his shot improves, regardless it would be leading our team right now. That is our weakest area.

I don't know, but I don't think there is true 6'-10" or taller post player out there that would be prospect than this kid and I don't think there's a '15 pg that would come in and take minute from MG next season. Maybe Sapp, but not MG. And I'm still a believer in TD. So, I say sign this kid who looks to be a potential elite shooter.

I don't think he has an offer. Nothing wrong with keeping your eye on a kid, especially one who is 6'9 and can shoot it like this. I'm sure Fran will see how the transfer market shakes out before he would ever get a schollie. Plus he is talking about going the prep school route possibly, so once again keeping in touch with him is a good move.

As far as prep school goes, I think a year with our staff and going against Uthoff & Uhl everyday in practice would give you far more development than anything out there.

It wasn't an official visit, he paid his own way. I doubt he gets an offer unless Fran strikes out on the late season targets, and transfers.
