I realize not everybody would want him as Iowa's coach, but do you think he gets a P5 job?

Who wouldn't want that guy at Iowa? He'd be perfect. and he's stated he wants the gig.

Young, good recruiter, agressive defense, innovative offense.

Reach out, tell him to stay put....and get him in a few years.

All wishful thinking....very little chance...

Everyone knows he is a total db though... He may or may not win at a P5 level but is a db for sure...

folks, here is the reality. We have kf as coach until he passes hayden's total wins at iowa has the all time wins record. as of today: hayden = 143, kf = 134. 9 wins, folks. so, if we win out and get 8 wins next season, i think kf might consider retiring. but, no way he will before that.

There could be some truth here. I have no data to back it up, but I do think KF retires within 4-5 years at most, regardless.

I just hope the brain trust has enough sense to work on replacement plans about 1-2 years out, for continuity.

Sounds like we want PJ to stay at WMU one more season.
