POLL: Is McHawkin...

I don't really care for polls on sites like this but there's a situation here that just cries out for one today. McHawkin has been bouncing around claiming that there's some great news coming and has strongly implied that it has something to do with recruiting. However, thus far he/she/it has declined all requests to spill the beans. Thus, the need for you to answer the following question:

Is McHawkin:

(1) A messenger from God who has news that will unite all of the tribes to live happily ever after?

(2) An insider with a great scoop that he really can't share yet?

(3) An attention whore and an insufferable pr**k who's just messing with us and deserves to be shot at dawn?

I think that covers most of the important possibilities, but feel free to add others as you see fit. In any event, I'd like to get up a mob to jump Mc and make him give it up. Who's with me?

P.S., for the record, "McHawkin" is not one of my alternate screen names. I do have several--including, for example, Storminspank, Bucketochicken and Ghost of the BTT--but McHawkin isn't one of them.

I think he was just trying to counter the negative rumor thread by injecting a positive rumor.

Quite ingenious.

I'm here for a while now...waiting to post...gettin softer. Every minute I stay on this computer screen I get weaker. And every minute McHawkin squats in the bush he gets stronger.
 
Option 3 is the closest.

I'm not in agreement of Freddy's descriptive adjectives, but I do think it's an attention-getting ploy and non-substantive.

My question is why is McHawkin getting the 3rd degree for posting a positive rumor, but when someone posts a rumor that a player is transferring, that is disputed by no one except, it seems, myself...

This program hasn't had any really good news for 4-5 years so anything would fill the void a little bit. Best news we've heard is that they were selling $1 hot dogs at CHA.

yesterday there was a thread with an OP claiming to know that a number of players were transferring and he was roundly criticized.

And based on having 10 players transfer in three years..there is ample evidence that ''out of the blue'' bad news can and has happened repeatedly since Lick took over.

Now as for ''out of the blue'' good news since lick took over? Pretty rare.

Just sayin....
