Phil Steele gives Iowa high marks for homefield advantage

I would throw out Hawaii, TCU, & Boise (all rated ahead of the hawks) due to the leagues they play in (their home field advantage is exacerbated in my mind because of the talent advantage they have over the competition), so that would move Iowa into the top 10.

I think you have to leave Hawaii in just because of the time difference. I think that really screws with the visitors.

what surprised me was UAB has a 72,000 seat stadium! Also, for all the talk from Nebraska, you'd think it was impossible to ever win in Lincoln and it is the greatest atmosphere ever imaginable.

I'm assuming that UAB plays in Legion Field in Birmingham, where Alabama used to play a ton of games.

Hawaii is well known to have some insane crowds/fan support, even beyond the time differences.

I mean, after all, what else is there to do in Hawaii.

Girls in Bikini's? :D

This is something else to do in Hawaii... Dog knows what I'm talking about.

I'll help...

ISU's homefield advantage should increase with their freakin' huge video screen and ultimate sound system. Haven't you heard? It's huge. And sick.
