Coincidence that Phil Parker was the one that made the play to get that DB recruit the same day Norm retires. I'm sure they didn't tell recruit about Norm but the fact that Phil was involved in the recruiting process of him may say something. Would a recruit commit if he didn't know who DC coach would be? Think Phil Parker is our new DC.

He had an offer from Toledo....I think that speaks more than the potential Phil takes over as DC. If you have an offer at a mid-major and then are offered by a BigTen school, you tell me? Personally, I jump on it regardless of who the new DC may be.

Yeah, and it has nothing to do with the facts that

1-He was from PP's recruiting zone and he's a DB and PP is the secondary coach, and
2-He de-commited the same weekend that the coach of the school he was going to attend left to take the Illinois job.
