Nope. I don't think he wants to have to get up on the tables and sing and dance for money and attention. Don't believe he is that kind of dude. Likes the football, not the outside stuff.
Yeah, I think he is like Norm Parker in that he just wants to teach coach football. If he really wanted to be a head coach someday, I think he could have gotten a MAC or FCS job by now and tried to work his way up the ladder.

When KF retires, he may consider the Iowa head job if given the chance, but it doesn't sound like he's really thinking about that right now.

I agree with this. If the opportunity presented itself and he actually wanted a chance, I actually think Phil Parker could become the head coach for a few years after KF retires before BF takes over. This certainly depends on how much longer KF decides to carry on though. It does feel like Phil may be perfectly content to remain the defensive coordinator and let BF be the head coach.
