PG Recruiting

Has anyone heard anything recent on PG recruiting?

Shaq Stokes seems to still be playing well but I haven't seen that he has visited. I thought he was suppose to come late January/early February.

I would think Bryce Cartwright's progress would have to help our recruiting

If he can play at or above the level Bryce is playing at now, then no question, I'd take him in a heartbeat

I wouldn't mind Stokes as well, however I think the player I'd really like at PG is Elijah Carter. Don't get me wrong, I'd be happy with either, I just like Carter's size 6'2" from the PG position.

Oops. If we picked up Colvin we wouldn't be able to make fun of Fred's castaways anymore. However, I would be all for it.

He's a talent. He was a headcase at ISU but he was also a freshmen playing on an underacheiving team with a coach who was under pressure. I'd take him at ISU again and you'd be getting a real talent if he came to Iowa. Quick, has hops, better shot than his % indicated last year

I agree with 17's assessment. He has pretty good game and as far as the head case issue's, I would attribute much of that to being immature. He would be more mature both physically and emotionally. Much like Cartwright is now.

Did Colvin get kicked off of ISU?

I thought he just underperformed and transferred to a JUCO.

He underperformed and then transferred because he didn't like the coaching staff. He was also suspended for a couple of games midway through the season for "violating team rules" or some other internal problem.

Not the same level of taking Luscious or White
