Though it will be interesting to see what tighter windows does to that perceived accuracy. I am excited and hopeful for the season, but a little wait-and-see on the passing game, still.

Kind of a deceptive title to the list considering some are not what I'd call "returning". Not sure how a transfer and fits into the returning category, but I like where he's sitting.

Nico L is also a transfer. I guess it just means they are not first year starters, so they have a resume to compare to others.

Not a big Drew Allar guy, and I was saying this even before the shit throw late in the Notre Dame game.

Luke Altmyer might be the only “lock” on the OP’s list. Illinois could be a sneaky 10-2 team this year.

Nico I has the highest ceiling, if he puts it together, he is a top 5 NFL draft pick.

Expecting Mendoza to replicate what Rourke did might be a stretch.
