Peter Jok vs Denver Nuggets

I didn't see anything from those highlights that showed him being lost on defense. I did see him cause a turnover, though.

The Pelican team looked poor on offense. Peter did look good shooting that three. He doesn't have the size to stop the large lads in the paint, but could be a factor stealing the ball. His junior year at Iowa he seemed to average a steal a game, scoring on a layup or dunk.....

His quick release and accuracy very well could give him a shot in the NBA. Instant offensive is somewhat valuable in any league. Would be nice to see an Iowa player in the league......

Have a feeling that in a few years there might be some ExHawks playing in the NBA.....

We shall see.....

Still looks lost on defense at times, but when you are not given a chance to play that happens. Anyways, I hope you all enjoy what I have found ...enjoy!!

Many more Monte Morris highlights in the first 7 minutes, then finally are some clips of Jok in the last 2 minutes.

Hawk5656 was probably stroking himself over those highlights. Even though the way it sounded Jok was the leading scorer in the game.

He should be able to land an 11th man role someplace shouldn't he? He provides the one thing every team needs/wants. He may not be a guy that ever starts and plays a huge role but surely he can be like a James Jones type... Hang around forever livin the NBA lifestyle cashing checks

Probably not. Summer league didn't help him either unfortunately. He should make a ton of money overseas unless he wants to dry to stick it out in the G-League.

Yeah dude just didn't play much other than the one game. That sure didn't help. But he showed the one thing he can do well in it. I would think the older vets like a James Jones that are getting paid considerably more due to their tenure could be forced out by a kid like Jok that can do the same thing for less money... The NBA is getting to the point now with monopoly money going to the top 3 players or so on each team that the bench guys will almost all have to be getting table scraps... relatively speaking
