One is white one is black. One was 6’5 the other 5’10. One is the all time scorer in college hoops. The other won’t come close to that. There’s gotta be a better comparison. Tyrone Lue would be a better comparison to this kid than Pistol Pete.

He seems pretty good at reading the defense and knowing when to penetrate and when to pull up to shoot. At least from those highlights and even some others I've seen. If he keeps working I bet Iowa will end up offering him.

But one thing he has that you can't really teach is the ability to draw contact at the rim, get hit and still score. He's an and-one machine that our offense sorely needs. It's what JBo (or any other pg's for Fran) can't/couldn't do. That is the missing link to Iowa's offense.

Seriously, you think a short guard who can draw fouls at the basket is the missing link for this offense? I think replacing Jok's shots is the missing link.

It doesn't matter how tall the kid is...it's that he can get to the rim, on his own, take contact, score and get fouled. So, yes, I think that's been the missing link. Jok's shooting can and will be replaced by JBo. Fran's already got that one covered.
