I know iowa has been down of late. There is a lot of doom and gloom attitude around here. Think about this. We only have 2 more losses than kansas. Also, a few of their losses have been far worse than any of ours. Chew on that.

It would be nice if we had ANY luck. We have the worst luck. Look at ISU. OSU's Forte the leading free throw shooter in the Big 12 misses a game icing free throw (much like Gesell did against ISU), and then Long hits a miracle 3 to send the game to OT (much like he did in the 2nd OT of their first meeting). Just once I would love to have some luck. We always miss our game winning/tying shots. Iowa is cursed.

Our schedule was not easy. Kansas has more talent across the board, shouldn't they be expected to do better.

I would love to see another last second shot by the Hawks to win the game, sometime during the rest of my lifetime. Last one I remember seeing was James Moses at Indiana about 23 years ago....

Perspective and using 8th Ranked Kansas, how funny. What is not funny is that Iowa most likely would be a bubble team if they played the Kansas schedule, because Iowa does so well against the RPI Top 50..

Not trolling - love the logic as ISU has one less loss than Kansas. Should be good for the Final Four.

Perspective is an interesting thing. Some will say Iowa lost 4 of their last 5. This is true. When we win tonight I will be saying we have won 2 of our last 3 with the only loss being one that was always expected. I will say Iowa is ready to make a run at the BTT championship and a run in the NCAAs. Others will say Iowa has lost 4 of their last 6 and is on the bubble. I'm just glad my glass is most always half full...makes Iowa basketball much more enjoyable.
