This situation has always been a criminal matter, not an athletic issue. I am still amazed at how the NCAA handled this situation and I know I am in the minority on this board.
It may be something actually worth following.
Clearly someone is only worried about re-election in his own state. Hopefully people who care more about kids than football in that state will realize that.
No you are dead wrong on that.
Paterno, or whomever covering up what Sandusky did never gave PSU any advantage on the field and actually, the repercussions are far worse today than if they would have told the truth to begin with.
Absolutely not an athletic issue morally wrong, yes, but no athletic advantage. It would be like you saying that PSU's volleyball team won 4 straight NC's because of the football program...yeah right.
BS it gave them advantage on the field cause recruits didn't know about this crap going on.

Stupid...take thepunishment and go on...Bill OBrien can't be happy about that
Agreed. The more this is talked about the worse it is for Penn St. Personally I was not thinking about this and now I am and I hate those bastards all over again, good job Gov. keep reminding everyone about all those children that were raped at Penn St. Idiot.
