making jokes in front of victims families? wow, sickening, what is wrong with our world...im telling you, i do not put up with this ****, i would gladly spend a night in the clink to hurt someone if this was said about one of my family members...who tolerates this....not me

No they didn't know they were doing it in front of a victim's family member but how many jokes have you made about this situation? I am guessing none.

The point is how f&*ked up do you need to be to make jokes about the situation period let alone in the community where it all took place.

Have you taken a second to look around and evaluate the society we live in today? People wear shirts to football games that say "Iowa ******* City". Nothing is off limits or shocking anymore. It's no different than people telling MJ death jokes hours after he died.
 
If the abuse scandal happened at Iowa, students at Iowa would be doing the same thing.

Obviously, making light of this situation isn't appropriate, and I'm not defending the students this girl overheard. I'm just saying that if you think it would be different at Iowa or anywhere else, you are delusional. Kids will be kids, dumb as they may be.

Yeah some of those questions were making the local press, or whoever they were, look clueless or crazy.

I want bodies in the street. I want to mow these worthless bastards down and never look back. Students, media, I don't care. Not a one of 'em should ever be allowed to breed and spread their stupidity on to future generations.
