Penn St just chucks it and it works out enough

I still dont see why the hawks cant roll out a QB and go downfield a few times a game. The risk-reward is in favor of the offense as most times the worst is an incompletion.

McSorley is not that great a passer but just chuck it man.

You dont think Jerminic Smith, McCarron, or Falconer, Scheel, cant get open or in a jump ball situation 40 yards downfield.

Roll your qb, and adjust your blocking for 4-5 planned deep balls a game.

Greg Davis just doesnt believe in it.

Not a big PSU fan but I am loving them beating up on USC right now.

did you catch Keith Jackson when they had him in the booth? Could hardly understand or hear what he was saying. He really struggled speaking. I think they said he was 88 years old now. He is the greatest college football announcer of all time.

Without Vanderberg to draw some coverage out, the Iowa WR corps is horrible. Not trying to bash players but they are. We could throw up jump balls but it's going to bad more than it's going to go good. Florida's secondary is also ridiculous. If I remember they have the 7th ranked passing defense (but I could easily be wrong on the exact number).

And regarding PSU, McSorely is a lot faster than Beathard and can get more separation, especially with Barkley as a short yardage passing option.

Yeah, nice in a way to have him on but was it needed while the action was live. I felt Fowler and Herbie felt uncomfortable.

Herbstriet works with Lee "Head Injury" Corso on a regular basis.

Keith Jackson was a walk in the park.

Of course, it can get picked off it key moments though (see last pick by Penn St)...................but yes more downfield passing please.
