Pearl to Iowa--No Thanks--KCRG

Just saw a clip on KCRG with Scott Saville, where he asked Pearl if he was interested in Iowa. He said no thanks. He is at Tennessee and expects Iowa to do a good job hiring their new coach.

I don't expect Pearl to come to Iowa...but seriously, in that situation there's no way in hell he would say anything else. Did KCRG expect him to say "Ah crap...you got me! See you boys in Iowa City after the tourney! ON IOWA!"

Exactly right. It's always been a longshot, but I'm yet to see a coach tell the media "Yeah, I'm interested." NEVER happens.
