I am getting old a lot of the play by play guys football and baseball that I grew up with are either getting up there in age or dead. I miss the days when you did not need a schtick or feel the need to have to drop pop culture references to show how hip and cool you were. This is the world we live in now and I am adapting, but I do miss the Pat Summerall way of broadcasting.

Yeah, he lived a long life considering the amount of drinking he did, it really didn't catch up to him physically until he was 73.
