Pass Proctection - Stanley

I know it was a major concern heading into the season. That was pretty damn solid protection yesterday. Now, I know it's ISU and it's one their weaknesses (pass rush)...but Stanley had time to throw and the blitz pick up was impressive. He really had a great pocket all day long. ISU sent an extra guy a bunch and it was picked up most of the day. I was really impressed and it's clear to me, we have made improvements in pass protection.

I have to tell you...when you watch the game again...and watch Jon's film posts...this kid is really freaking accurate. I know he missed the long throws that could have been huge plays...but watch where he puts the ball on all the screens, crossing routes, etc. He puts the ball where the guys can run after catch...right in stride, and perfectly placed. He also has a freaking cannon. Watch the throw on Easely's touchdown...that ball gets there in a second and it's right in stride, perfectly placed. I think Nathan Stanley is going to be really fun to watch for the next three years.
