pass offense and pass defense need upgrades

Yeah, I watched the game in my living room.

I've been on this site blowing up, ad nauseam, about Iowa's pass defense.
Iowa's problems on pass defense are still evident.

Iowa's pass offense also leaves a lot to be desired.

Iowa is poor in the 2 minute drill - expected passes are generally unsuccessful.
First, Iowa needs to recruit receivers that have more than 4
years receiving experience by their senior year of college.
Iowa needs to recruit receivers with more speed and these speedsters will need more college game experience so they'll have a better feel of getting open - like breaking off patterns on blitzes, breaking off patterns to open areas of the field, and making sure they get a first down when a first down is required. Unfortunately, I saw all these things not happen, today, against tOSU. The offensive line can't hold long enough if no one can get open.

Who has Iowa recruited or is recruiting that might fill some of these voids?
Maybe KOK could think about putting more "athletic" pass plays in the offense so a "prized" recruit might consider coming to Iowa. On occasion, maybe the offense can put more than 4 receivers in a pass play.

Need better corners who don't have to use 8 yard cushions. Or maybe the scheme just needs to change so they don't have to use that big of a cushion. I don't know. Ticked off, depressed, tired, and disillusioned right now.
