Parking Tickets

Iowa City's finest a-holes gave every media member a parking ticket today while they were in the Barta presser. Way to thank the media members who showed up in IC on short notice to publicize the joke of a basketball program.

I guess they were just trying to raise the money for the Lickliter payout?

I'm sure that it was the Univeristy parking enforcement people that issued the tickets not the Iowa City police since they were on Univ. property and not city. They probably had no idea who the cars belonged to or why they were there - they only knew that the cars parked there didn't have the correct passes to be parked were they were parked. They probably should have been issued passes or something but with the short notice and all.........

This surprises you? The entire time I lived in the area the University and Iowa City police were well known for issuing parking tickets. I racked up quite a bunch in my time.
