Packer's Draft

They just released Nick Collins, who should retire, but the Packers didn't want to stop him if he wanted to play again

The pack need:

LB or pass rushing end
Safety
Tackle
Secondary depth
RB depth

and just more depth in general, but those are the major needs. Interesting to see what Teddy does.

TT needs to trade one of his 4ths to move up in the 2nd.

OLB in RD1...Shea McClellin
DE in RD2...Worthy, Reyes or Crick
SS in RD3...Antonio Allen (South Carolina) or Brandon Taylor (LSU)

That would be a heck of a start to rebuilding that GB D!

I wouldn't argue with any of those picks. I hope they can get a decent RB 4th or 5th round. A jewel hampton type perhaps

I hope we get Bernstine really late in the draft. What must happen is we get someone in the first that can create some pressure on the QB. Our corners are fine, they just can't stay with a WR for 8 seconds like they were forced to all season last year. We need a pass rush or else we don't have a chance and winning the SB.

I agree with this as well, but I think CB is a need in this draft or the next as Woodson is aging and doesn't have that many more years left in him. I think if you can take care of the DL/LB this year then next year you can focus on CB. I would love them to get a decent RB that is consistent, but they'll likely never do that in the early rounds.

Worthy and Reyes won't be around that late in the 2nd round. Crick will be.

I think that is why he said trade up. Could do some trading with what 11 picks they have. Turn some of those late rounders and their second rounder into an early second round pick.

AJ Hawk re-sign long term? I realized he struggled a bit last year, but I was hoping the steelers would make a play for him to replace Farrior. It looks like the Steelers are staying in house with Larry Foote and then drafting someone or going with one of of the youngsters after that.

Capers is looking for his version of Kevin Greene and Greg Lloyd.....he has Matthews it seems like he is looking for the guy on the other side.
