It would force quite a few hands, IMHO. That move would leave six schools, two of which are strong B10 candidates, scrambling.

Mizzou and nebby would be a lock if the B10 wanted them.

What the heck would ISU do in this case? They'd be left with KU, KSTATE and Baylor. Hardly an attractive FB package, though some interesting BB teams in the mix there.

And what would this do to Notre Dame? Would this put any pressure on them?

I totally agree. Things would start happening fast on the national level.

As a result the Big Ten would need to move quickly.
