OT: Will Wirfs play

Lot's of home teams going down. I really want to watch Wirfs do his stuff but he looked pretty hurt in the last game, tried to go back in but was very hobbled and limited. Now, the doctors and trainers have much more at their disposal to remove that swelling and pain so we shall see.

I agree that losing an all pro tackle is tough on a team. The chiefs last year lost a few Oline starters between the last regular season game last year and during the playoffs and by the Super Bowl they could not run the ball and Mahomes was a sitting duck with no time to look for receivers.

Funny how even a tremendous, agile, fast qb can look like a dog when their running game and pass blocking do not exist. Think about it.

I hope to see him play too, and yeah, the Chiefs had no chance in the super bowl with the offensive line they had to put on the field that day. I'm not really sure whether he is expected to play, but rest assured that if he can be out there, he will.

I wonder if the bucs will try to get the win without him and let him rest the ankle for the next week.

Wirfs made that offense click. Even the great Brady needs to stay off his back. Gronk can't help out the weaker tackles subbing for Wirfs to overcome the Ram's defense with Aaron Donald, Von Miller, and the rest.

Glad he didn't sounds like it's messed up pretty good and he's going to have surgery on it. Hope he'll be good to go by day 1 next season
