OT sort of-Reid, Chiefs and the screen pass

Just beautiful how they run them, how they have receivers go one direction, clear it out and screen back away from that flow. Two big ones already against a really good chargers D. I know some are going to say let it go, but where the hell BF was the screen pass a few times each big game, it is relatively safe and if you practice the timing and have good Off linemen they can bust big.

Mahomes and the passing game is just fun to watch like brees and the saints (although have only seen them one time )

It's amazing how the threat of down field passing opens up your offense. ahem.

It helps to have athletes at receiver. We don't have that.

But at the same time, they do so much with putting guys in motion that it opens things up. While having the athletes is huge opening things up and keeping the defenders guessing is huge.

To bring it around to the Hawks, if you could have the staff visit one team in the offseason (and actually steal heavily from them), who would be that one team (college or pro)? Chiefs seem like a pretty good choice.

Chiefs for now may have the best record in the AFC, but they are starting to look like a team running out of gas.

If the Patriots get the home field in the playoffs, book them for another Super Bowl appearance (which would suck ass!!!) Hopefully the Steelers will beat them this weekend

Yeah Tyreke Hills don't grow on trees... Just having that dude on the field opens up a lot of things. Plus a Kelce. You have those pieces on one side and you run a play fake screen pass the other way and you'll have some open field for your RB to work with guaranteed..

For whatever reason Iowa struggles with the screen pass. They had some success with Wadley, but other than that it has been brutal to watch them try and execute it.

Yes and that is terrible coaching because it is a staple play in the I formation pro style offense. It seems like some OCs just know when to run it and what side the defense might blitz from or be vulnerable in, I just bet the hawks do not practice it much and instead over practice outside and inside zone run blocking
