OT NBA...

I'm not much of an NBA fan. But Steph Curry is something special... really special.

Wow.

I know what you mean. I hardly ever watch NBA but earlier this season at a bar I watched Curry sink 4 straight 3s from way beyond the line. And he is like a excited kid still like a exuberant 10th grader on the soph basketball team having a ball.

I saw a reply of his game winner last night and 1) I was not surprised that he sank that shot and 2) shame on the opponent for not stopping his dribble with a double team when he was still in the backcourt and 3) #2 is one reason I dont watch the nba is the little defense they play and the really sloppy offense just chucking up bad shots by mostly bad shooters.

I'm not an NBA fan at all and I'm not easily impressed by anyone, let alone some NBA guy, but I can only shake my head and smile. The guy's amazing. Unbelievable.

And it's not like he was 12-30 from 3. He was 12-16! He takes shots when he can take shots. So impressed!

So Klay Thompson, Green, Barnes or whoever would simply put a dagger in your heart. This team is just unreal. If NBA offense is sloppy, then college bball offense must be unwatchable. Give me NBAers running a bunch of high ball screens any day of the week as oppose to watching some college team struggling to run some motion offense.

Exactly. His basketball IQ is off the charts. His handles are so good it creates spacing so he can get that split second to shoot. The quick release is just lethal given current NBA rules it is just unstoppable.

Exhibit A of somebody who doesn't watch the NBA. Or at least not any good NBA teams. Because there aren't any really good teams in the NBA that don't play good defense. Without good defense, you might be able to sneak in the playoffs because over half the league gets there but thats as far as you'll go and it is usually an embarrassing exit in the first round of the playoffs.

I liked Don Nelson's fast pace passing offense, Popovich's teams, the former Phoenix coach was it Dantonio???, but for the 5 or 6 teams that work the ball most teams I get a quick glimpse of are zero passes or one pass and chuck a shot, a shot that many times isnt even close. Hey if Sports Illustrated and other sports media a few years ago can complain about the near total lack of good jump shooters thruout the NBA and I see the same thing then I take it as gospel.

And lets not talk officiating.
