False. It is not "'football' to the rest of the world." In many English speaking countries besides the US, the people widely call it soccer. Some of these countries include Canada, Australia, South Africa, New Zealand, parts of Ireland, and parts of the Caribbean. Also, this definitely isn't "Hawkeye Football," so it is completely OT and would probably fit better in the "Professional Sports" forum, although with the feelings many have toward soccer, it could also fall under the "Rivalry Forum."
