Are you saying we won't roll up 126 on them like we did the last time?Came within 5 of Oklahoma State. We might lose another one Friday.
That game was in Oklahoma City in late 1987. The ITN, or whatever it was then, interviewed Pete Maravich at halftime of the game.
Pistol Pete would be gone like ten days later, succumbing to a heart ailment that had been undetected his whole life.

He was a clergyman; same exact thing.
The guy guilted his own son about being gay to the point of suicide and the the jeebus wackos went and named a college after him. Hopefully Oral’s pneumonia took a while to do him in.

Oral Roberts is the team Ray Thompson attended after leaving Iowa. He was a good one for the one season he played at Iowa.

It's a name that actually scares me if we're in a close game with them. Sure they suck, but they won't choke on the big one.

We might have to swallow some pride if we're gonna pull off a win. JBo, CJ, & Joe are gonna have to be shooting deep and Garza's definitely gonna have to play hard on the inside. Hopefully, Toussaint can provide us a lot of penetration as well. We need one big team effort.
