Opponents Shooting %

What are the opponent fg and 3pt % in the last 5 games? If I recall correctly, Iowa hasn't shot bad in those games.
I'm generally positive about the Hawks potential, but I can see the season only lasting 3 more games.

We did not shoot well in the second half and had trouble getting good looks while msu was on fire.

Get the win versus the ILLINI and then one step at a time.

Hawks need to find a way to get shots without pressure and knock them down.

We haven't played great defense, but MN and MSU prolly don't shoot that well in shoot-around practise. But def needs some improvement for tourney time.

Sorry I'm not buying that... I watched Indiana play Nebraska and Indiana could not score at all... yet they could score 94 pts against us.

This is 4-5 games in a row where we couldn't stop anyone.

It's our defense plain and simple.

Iowa looks fatigued and they are not closing out on shooters. With all the depth, that is kind of strange. Maybe they are not as well conditioned as other teams, I don't know. They have lost a half step since the Michigan game.

St. Mary Women's College for the Blind could light up our defense. When you give DI college basketball players 8 feet of open space to shoot the ball, their shooting percentage increases sharply. Iowa looks lost on defense...do they even practice this?

They were so good on defense last year... the regression is wierd

Indiana couldn't even make a wide open shot against Nebraska but they were making fade away 3's with people in their face against us. I watch teams brick open looks all the time against other teams but for some reason when they play us they make everything, contested or not. It's ridiculous. I mean come on, appling was shooting so bad he gets a standing ovation when he makes a 3 during a dead ball. Then he proceeds to start draining them. It's ******* ridiculous.

I think iowa has a shot at first round win. Beyond that I have trouble seeing it. But come on OP. If your going to start a thread on this topic. Bring some stats.

Iowa does nothing to make an offense or shooter uncomfortable. They dictate nothing on defense. They let guys get to their spots, their close outs are awful and their hands are always down. If you're comfortable all the time, shots will fall.

Early in the year, teams were trying to slow us down, which didn't work.

Now they are trying to out-run us, and we haven't figured out how to stop that, yet.

So about 53%-54% shooting we have bee giving up the past 5 game.

We keep that trend going we will be lucky to win one more game.

Michigan State: .583
Purdue: .491
Indiana: .517
Minnesota: .612
Wisconsin: .476

Even though the Purdue % is the second lowest I still think that is the worst one. Granted it was the 3rd game in 6 days but Purdue shooting 49% is like a good shooting team shooting 75%.
