Opening kickoffs

There's almost nothing KF will ever be accused of being a genius for doing, the least of which is opening kickoffs. While basically EVERY coach 'differs' to the second half, KF remains the one coach who takes the ball first. So either KF is the lone genius and every other coach is wrong, or visa-versa.

If you take the ball first, the other team takes the wind, which means the opposite happens to start the 3rd qtr, which means the other team ALWAYS has the wind in the fourth qrt. The fourth qtr is when the passing game becomes very important for the team trailing. We will ALWAYS being going against the wind when trying to come back, and the oppenent will ALWAYS have the wind when trying to come back in 4th

Secondly, it makes more sense to be on defense first b/c defense is 'reactionary' and it helps to have high-adrenaline (like you have in first few minutes of a game) (ask anyone who has played HS or college ball how high that adrenaline is to start any game). Offense, on the other hand, is based more on precision-adrenaline can sometimes hamper that. (queue the tape of the first series of any Drew Tate game-his first few throws always went into the 4th row and we wuould go three and out and give opponent great field position to start)

Thirdly, the opponent gets an extra possession in 2nd half, which is when defenses get the most tired, and easier to move the ball against. (you always hear the expression the defense is tired. You NEVER hear the expression the "offense is getting tired"). This is also why 10-7 games going into the 4th end up 31-28---because defenses get tires and get shredded late.

These reasons are why EVERY coach differs. But kf is so stupid to think he must be the only smart coach
