Looks like the Big is looking to change the rules causeThe Ohio State says so. Funny how the Big shot down Debby’s attempt to schedule a fill-in game but might allow the Buckeyes to do so. No matter what theBig does it will look like special treatment for OSU.

I disagree with this assessment, if you want to see special treatment look at the Big 12 and Texas. If Texas tells the conference to jump the other schools ask 'how high?'. Without Texas that conference would fall apart much like the SWC did.Looks like the Big is looking to change the rules causeThe Ohio State says so. This is where I'm at, I would be wanting the exact same provisions if this were to happen to Iowa. I think the conference should act in it's best interest and I think getting Ohio State the chance to play for the Big Ten title is in it's best interest. They are the best team in the Big Ten and a title game without Ohio State will feel cheesy. To me it's more important that they get this right. If we were in Ohio State's position, and we were leading the conference and couldn't get a 6th game because others were canceling due to Covid...we'd be screaming bloody murder that you can't derail our championship season. That being said, would Iowa be afforded a changing of the rules so we wouldn't get screwed. That's an interesting question...but I honestly think...yes. If we were undefeated and were impressive in the victories...I say yes.
