Only 1 loss in B1G

Relax people, its only 1 loss. We lost by 10 points to an ok team. We still have time to do some things this year
 
If we split with PSU, MI, MSU, and NE I thought we had a shot to win the Legends. Now we got to take 2 of 3 from MSU, MI, and NE. We want NW and OSU to win tonight.

We have to figure out our offensive execution. If we aren't an above-average offensive unit this season is toast.
 
OP got a point, we still control are own destiny. As much as people were claiming this team to be unreal after La-monroe same amount claming crap now. Still not an unwinninable game on our schedule
 
Rebuilding year? Really? Just what parts do you see Iowa building with? They are playing a bunch of fifth year seniors.

Maybe next year will be a rebuilding year when they start playing guys that will be here in the future.
 
Did this guy watch the same game? Penn States offense is horrible! We made it look great. The guys on ABC even said that you won't see another game like this the whole year, "old school smash mouth football". I believe that. I won't watch another game today with "smash mouth football"....because no one runs it! Its time to embrace the spread offense. Over the years we have been able to overcome our predictability on offense by having an opportunistic defense...not this year. The offensive strategy is being focused on by fans and commentators alike.
 
Lost to a very bad PSU team. What an anemic showing. At least Temple scored 10 on them. My expectations have once again been lowered to zero. Probably a good thing as I'll be spending less time on here now.

Dude we didn't shut them down or nothing, but 13 points I don't think they looked great. We ran no huddle and had 3 recievers on the field most of the time, this we need to open it up argument isn't exactly their anymore. The fact is we aren't that great, i don't think the philosophy had alot to do with the game today.

Yes, we lost to a bad Penn state team on the road, we also lost to bad ISU team on the road shouldn't be that shocking

Same game as you man, so what your saying we should of ran no huddle and that's the problem, we got beat, we aren't that good, Indiana also runs the spread who cares, u play bad on the road u lose, simple as that.
 
They didn't necessarily run no huddle all the time but they did mix it in a few times in each half. We also went 3 receivers at times as well. It actually didn't look like they knew when they wanted to do it and when they didn't. Vandy was getting tricked with their disguises and couldn't find a rhythm. Couple with that with the drops today and he was frustrated.
 
only the first B1G loss..... number two is probably next week. This is not a very good team.... a good team if your Indiana
