Sorry if this has already been mentioned, but one thing that I took from his press conference that I really liked is that Coach McCaffery didn't just talk about having one "system" that his team will follow. It sounds like he will adapt to what the opponent gives us. That sounds a little like an old Hayden philosophy..."Scratch where it itches". We haven't had that in a while. Coach Lickliter seemed to be too engrained in a system. Even our beloved Mr. Davis seemed to stick with his pressing system when the opponent seemed to be carving right through our defenders. I like a coach that is going to put in the time to adjust to what the opponent will allow!
