One FG difference between potential BCS title and Western Michigan

If Wash St beats Wash this week, Boise State will likely end up playing a 6-6 Western Michigan team in the Kraft Bowl...yikes. As it stands now, they would at least be playing a 7-5 Boston College team, but Wash needs to win to become bowl eligible.

I think the BCS really screwed up last year by pairing TCU and BSU in a bowl game. They should have seperated them so at least we would have a good indicator of whether they are on par with the power conferences. Sure BSU beat Oklahoma a few years back, but I'm curious if that was a fluke or not. I'm not sure the Virginia Tech win was all that impressive either as they play in a weak conference and lost to James Madison the following week.

Even if they won I'm pretty sure people would find ways to dismiss those wins as fluke as you've done to the Oklahoma and Va Tech wins.
