Oline was awesome

Understatement of the night but wow. Between letting the RBs avg 5 yards a pop and letting Stanley drop back and do his thing that was strait up impressive. Pretty much the only play I was kinda pissed at the Oline for was at the end of the first half with them not giving Stanley enough time to step into a hail marry throw. I kinda wanted to see what Stanleys arm could do in that spot for the fun of it. We get that kind of effort out of them and we just got to see what the other guys can do... That's where it starts and stops. And I hope they get the props they have coming.

It just seems that rarely has the Oline played that well in both the run game and the pass game. Granted we've had more dominant games running the ball but 5 yards a pop is getting it done. It made Indiana off balance from the git go all game long and there was just nothing they could do about it. They tried grabbing and holding our receivers a lot and thankfully were called for it when it counted too. But they were just overmatched in the trenches and frankly coming into this game it's not even remotely what I thought would happen. BF called a great game and all the skill guys executed. It couldn't have been drawn up much better frankly. Minus the one bad pick again but it's really tough to play a 100% clean game.

If the oline can continue to gel, stay healthy, and improve as they usually do, it bodes well. Wirfs and Jackson should continue to improve and their ceilings are very high.
No doubt it's crazy to think they are both sophs eligibility wise.. Jackson a RS soph. I don't think he's pro ready by any means today but by the end of this season it's not a matter of if I think he is or not. He's got the body and ability. He wouldn't be a 1st round pick no doubt but huge young talented tackles (with 3 yrs of coaching under KF, Doyle and Iowas system) are worth their weight in gold to the NFL so maybe we should be on our toes wondering about him leaving early....
