I wonder if the recent OL recruiting/commitments have caused Iowa to back off the JUCO OL McKinney or do you think McKinney just backed off Iowa?

I don't think we backed off but he probably saw all the OT's we've gotten lately and thought he might be a better fit somewhere else. Plumb, Ince, Jackson, Wirfs and Kallenberger

This, the high school commits aren't going to have an impact with him. Those recruits will redshirt, except maybe Wirfs. McKinney is a national recruit who will come in early and participate in spring ball. It looks like he just likes Oklahoma better, which hurts. Would have been perfect for us.

Seems like a surprise that McKinney removed Iowa from his list. Obviously, Oklahoma is blue blood destination. A little curious at TCU, but that isn't a bad school prestige-wise.
