Oklahoma...nothing but steers and queers from Oklahoma. Yeah...that part of the country is different. I like to call it "ignorant defiance"...which is defined as "reason and logic clearly tell you something is wrong or unwarranted, but a combination of misguided ego and stubbornness override any intelligent thought that may attempt an end run." The other effect of "ignorant defiance" is that it spreads like a virus and others feel a kinship to the other morons. Theologians, academics, and historians all feel "Trumpism" has, as it's roots, ignorant defiance.

Listen...the other thing is that Oklahoma somehow shed what should be a more lasting legacy...they were the most racist state in America...just as much as any southern state in the early 20th Century. Somehow they just "waggon painted" over that reputation. I blame Rogers and Hammerstein.
