Anyone else watching this? Wow these two teams are pathetic. It is like neither team is interested in winning at all.

Well they are two teams combined for 9-17 conference records and it shows.

Miller and others like to point out creans coaching shortcomings... Drew and ford is way worse. Somebody in my twitter feed described it as two one legged guys in a butt kicking contest.

I thought this game was an elimination game for the loser and the tourney but nobody won here.

Probably a loss for the conference last night. Baylor had fallen off the wrong side of the bubble and OSU had fallen onto it, now they're both looking to be out. West Virginia is looking like their only hope for a sixth bid at the moment.

I can't see any of those teams making it. They would have to be perfect the rest of the way, and none of those teams have shown they are anywhere near "perfect".

Coaching, in my opinion, is the sole reason B10 teams tend to make it further in the dance. They are better prepared.

However, the B12 is a gauntlet this year as well. In most years I would say the B10 top to bottom is better. I'm not sure there's a difference this year. It will be interesting to see if the difficulty of playing B12 teams night in and night out will help the conferences success come tourney time like it has in the past with B10 teams.

So much depends on draws and seeds. For example last year the big 12 had a lot of teams in but really poor seeds, or in Osu's case a really misseeded matchup with a tough Oregon squad.

This year, especially if only 5 teams make it there is probably every school with a top 6 seed... A lot more conducive to a better tourney record.

So far 8 of 10 big 12 teams are in kenpom's top 52 teams as of now. TT is playing a lot better but is offensively challenged. They've only lost one conf game by double digits. It is a very tough league right now.

I think it is easy to see that the Big12 and the BIG are 1A and 1B as far as toughest conferences go.
