OK, next game

In the running game it would be nice to see Wadley get his 10 or so first half touches and Butler get his 10+ touches then turn it over to Toks, Toren and whoever else in the 2nd. They still need to work on some passing timing but the pass game is a pleasant surprise. Will the coaches try several combinations to see who replaces Ike?

Question to those who really know what goes on in practice but is AJ Epenesa not setting the edge well enough to be an every down DEnd?

I think PParker needs to practice some blitzing or dust off the Raider package. Not sure what they can do put try to get some pressure to help out the back pass defenders.

I would like to see the Raider package a little. It seemed effective.

AJ will continue to get more reps, he was in more this week. He's a stud and will only get better. That said, Parker Hesse is more than solid and the guy made a game saving play. Depth is good.

Bottom line is they need to come out to play to win. The rest will take care of itself. If they plan on resting guys etc they need to rethink that until the game is well in hand. There are too many times when Iowa plays a "weaker" opponent and all of us on the forums say we should rest this guy or work on this aspect or that. Just play to win and do the little things and what we want will happen.

Unfortunately I expect to see vanilla offense, win by 21 and no meaningful time for backups.

I'll accept your analysis BUT there needs to be meaningful reps for backups. I wouldn't mind sitting AW and giving IKM his plays. Feature JB in first half then bring in TY in 2nd. Go with TY and IKM the second half.
