Jon and others telling us that the deal was signed and we have to try and ignore it....sorry, I cannot do that. And all Hawk fans should not be doing it either. It is NOT too soon to be bitching about it already....hell, we were bitching about it through the entire 2014 season and before. And the USA Today should not be doing our dirty work for us....shame on the Iowa media if we go 5-7 or 6-6 and there isn't at least ONE story concerning the deal and what catastrophic results it could bring the program...AND, what can be done to rectify it.

If you're going to talk justIowa football, there are only two topics that matter:

1. $4.5M a year for the next ten years.
2. A mediocre program that doesn't recruit.

#2 only makes sense in the context of #1. There is no point of ignoring it.

My ONLY beef about the salary of Ferments is that he is being paid a similar salary to coaches who ARE being expected to recruit....there isn't ONE other coach making even close to 4.5 that could get away with such LAZY recruiting!!!
