Week 2 bets, who do you guys have? Let's keep this one only bets that you've made or plan to make. Last week I took the Hawks to cover and got a pleasant surprise at the end of the game.

This week I took:

Illinois to cover at UCONN, 21.0

Minnesota straight up vs Fresno State, -130

I took Iowa to cover against Rutgers.

I took Illinois. UConn is BAD.

I think Fresno is going to defeat the Gophers.

I wanted to take the Hawks to cover but after last week it was too much stress watching the game

I took the Goofs straight up because it was close and the moneyline would actually pay. It's pretty much a pick'em.

William Hill has them @ 19.5. When it opened it was 20.

I wish I had the balls last week to predict that Iowa's first play from scrimmage would have been a time out.

Finally a chance to look like a genius and I blew it.

My best bet is Debbie (-3.5) to cover vs Colorado.

Wisconsin (-35) to cover vs Central Michigan
Tennessee (-3.5) to cover vs BYU

Stanford (ML) Even vs USC
Vanderbilt (ML) +220 vs Pee-dew

Bovada has Iowa -19.5 right now.
O/U is 49, which IMO is the better play.

Something I thought was interesting was the Wake Forest. Rice game tonight having an o/u of 29.5 at the half.
I also thought Neb CO game at o/u 65.5 was interesting.

You’re a brave guy. That line scares the shit out of me. Nebraska’s too schizophrenic for my blood; I have to say if I was gonna take that game, I’d go ML.

Nebraska can either go bananas or lay an egg at any given time; I think if I had to bet that one I'd still go straight up.

I think it's gonna be a typical B12 game with 2 shitty defenses, IMO. I guess we'll see.

I also stayed away from Minnesota. I’m leaning toward Fresno State, but echo Fry’s sentiments that that one is basically a pick’em. Minnesota should win, but who knows. Could be my personal bias creeping in, hence why I didn’t put money on it!

I’ve got New Mexico +55.0 against Bama. Saban doesn’t historically cover in these super lopsided games. Not sure whether I’ll make any more bets this week, depends on whether there is any favorable late movement. I almost put money on Maryland when they were still +2.0, but I was a dummy and waited it out.

One that I’ve got my eye on: Oregon State +6.5 against Hawaii. The line has been moving on Hawaii, they opened as 4.5 point favorites.

This game will be very telling of Nebby’s season, and I think their performance will dictate how a lot of folks bet them in later weeks.
