***OFFICIAL PREDICT THE 2ND HALF OF TEH SEASON THREAD***





I predict 6 wins with one of the two wins being Purdue. I don't know which game they win but I think they get someone.

I have to go with this based on what I've seen. I would like to know how Iowa's Defense will stop anyone of of these Offenses OSU, NU, Wisky, Michigan and Nebraska.

Fair enough but NU looked very pedestrian in Madison. Call it a hangover from the week before or whatever you want but they looked bad. Also, injuries are starting to mount up for the Wildcats.

Michigan doesnt take care of the ball and have looked beatable pretty much all year. If these games were in Evanston and Ann Arbor I probably would have had them as losses.

Im just holding on to hope that Iowa can steal a couple in Kinnick.

This is what I'm thinking too. :(

The team that showed up against MSU is the team I had been expecting all season. We started off 4-1 because the level of competition we played was weak sauce. If we had some better game day coaching I'd say we finish 6-6, but the game passed Cap'n Kirk by a long time ago, and he has no idea how to evolve or adjust.

I guess I'll just have to adopt the "we're just little ol' Iowa" mentality and be glad that we're not any worse.

This is where I'm at, too. If I had to guess, I would say Iowa beats Michigan. It would be "cool" if Iowa could beat NW. Coach Ferentz has never beaten Iowa State, Minnesota, and Northwestern in the same season before.

Since you did not specify head coach he did technically beat all 3 of the teams as a coach at Iowa 6 times in the 80s. To be fair they probably would have beat all 3 in 03 and 04 also but they did not play the mildcats those years.

You suck. And this is coming from one of the biggest KF supporters on this board.
 


I think NW hs to regroup and might have been deflated after losing to O$U. If they do regroup, I have seen nothing in the past 6 seasons that leads me to believe that KF is built to game plan for NW. NW must still be thinking that if they beat MSU and UM also beats MSU, they can win the Legends. NW has Minny this week at home. So, I still see this:

O$U - L.
NW - L.
UW - L.
PU - W.
UM - L.
kNU - L.
