Official NW prediction thread

40-37 Hawks. Receiving game gets it going real early. Coker rolls, tops 150 with a pair of endzone appearences. :D
 
I am a die hard fan. Haven't missed a game in a very long time. Being a die hard fan doesn't mean I have to believe they will win every game. If Iowa loses every remaining game this year I will still be watching in November.
 
I'm sorry, any prediction I make is completely unofficial.

Hawks continue to run base 4-3, resulting in
SUPERsa = 317 passing - 2 TD's & 1 pick / 37 rushing - 2 TD's.

Hawks will get the pick trailing 17-14, with 1:05 left in 1st half and 2 timeouts, on their own 39. They will immediately rush Coker straight off right guard for 2 and lose 27 seconds before deciding to take a knee.

JVB = 288 passing - 3 TD's, 1 pick.
MC = 97 rushing, 1 TD
Bullock / Canzeri = 42 rushing, 1 fumble

Fighting Fitzgees = 34 (+1 in turnovers)
Iowa = 28.

Epic meltdown on HN.

I have terrific buzz for kickoff and huge hangover Sunday am.

I have to repeat this week's ritual of avoiding all BTN programming for fear of triggering obsenity laced rant at the mere mention of "Iowa" or "Hawkeyes".

Silver lining - I win a door prize at the b-ball practice:)

Then again, that digit is known fact while this is a prediction thread.
 
I think the Hawks will need to score in the mid to upper thirties to beat NW. I don't see it happening as the Iowa coaching staff will want to milk the clock and play not to lose, especially if ahead in the 4th quarter.

Northwestern finds a way to come back with a likely final score Northwestern 35 Iowa 31.
