Expecting a big Iowa victory today. This team should be just exploding with confidence.

Iowa- 72

UNI- 55

UNI is a very competitive, especially against Iowa. I don't feel as confident as you do but if Iowa can hit some outside 3's I think Iowa can win. Plus if Iowa can play fast without turning over the ball a lot and force UNI out of their comfort zone they will win.

I think ISU has better overall talent than both Iowa and UNI but I think UNI is more like Iowa in that they can play as team rather than just really good individuals.

What does ISU have to do with anything? UNI doesn't play them and Iowa beat them.

Anyway I will go with
Iowa 76
UNI 69
 
Iowa needs to dominate the paint, play good perimeter defense and attack the glass. With a dominate presence inside it'll open up open looks from 3. Iowa just has to make them. If they do that they win. UNI is a disciplined team that will keep coming and the Hawks have to show they can dominate a decent team outside of Carver.

I think they will have success in the paint and get to the free throw line and that'll be the difference.

Iowa: 76
UNI: 70
 
UNI 72 - IOWA 65. Need to find someone who can hit from the outside if we're to have a chance. UNI will be a much better "team" than ISU was.

It wouldn't surprise me. With the heinous anti-Iowa bias within the state's media, I could imagine him pulling a Lute and just saying "Screw it", then moving on to a school like Syracuse or some other east coast team when their coach leaves.
