Official Big Ten Game of the Week Thread: Week 2 Mich. St. vs Oregon

I think the Spartans keep this close, but since cheating pays huge dividends on college football, Oregon wins, but it is less than Vegas has it booked for and that is -11.

I detest Oregon more than any other program in the country, so I will be pulling for MSU.

11 points seems like a lot for a matchup between 2 top 10 teams.

I would take MSU... probably a B10 homer pick.

I heard today that the line moved to 12, so the money must be flowing in on Oregon. The Ducks had 650+ yrds and scored 62 points ,so easy to see why the betting public could go for Oregon at home. I think the Ducks will get away from MSU and win by a 38-27 type of score....but may not cover.

This belongs in the Big 10 forums. Anyways I want to hear about m$u getting destroyed here. I don't like their coach or the team and all the criminals that he lets play.

Dude, Oregon is like the bloods or crypts. LaGarret Blount, Jeremiah Missolli. All those guys with names that have two capital letters in their first names. It goes on and on.

This game is great and all but Game of The Week might be overselling it. There are tons of great non conference matchups for B1G teams this weekend.

Which game is better? Other than delusional Michigan and ND fans who still think MC Hammer is the new thang.

There's no doubt that Oregon's offense is good and I'm no expert but if you want to flash some stats...

MSU's D played only gave up 22 rushing yards on 25 attempts and was up 38-0 before giving up the 1 score in the game in the 2nd half. I didn't see the game but guessing at that point they had some 2nd string guys in the game.

I guess I just think 11 or now 12 is a lot of points and I think Michigan St will try to control the clock with their running game and I think the D will hold their own.

Really looking forward to this game.

Oregon's offense has had trouble with elite physical defenses in the past. On the other hand, MSU's vaunted D has never played a team with the offensive horsepower that Oregon can muster. If Sparty can keep the ducks under 30, it'll be an accomplishment,

Great game. I think it ends up being won by the overshadowed units. Oregon's D vs. Sparty's O will decide the game.

For the next 3 hours I hate you. How could you pull for Oregon? It is the proverbial opposite of Iowa in terms of running a clean program.

Style, and they dont care how many points they score. They are the anti ferentz and I love it.

Iowa is always my team, but I enjoy following the local ducks as well. As someone who follows both, they are the polar opposite in almost every way except for being located in College towns far away from most of the real talent hotbeds in the US.

Dang, I stopped watching when the Michigan game started cause it looked like Oregon was gonna run away with it. Now MSU has a halftime lead? Yikes.
