Iowa football plays cream puffs like North Dallas Texas and Middle Tennessee St for pre season games to help stack the win column every year. If they didn't, Kirk would have been fired a long time ago, the guy would have about 5-6 wins per season instead of 7-8.
Any other OC wouldn't have a job with that production.

I’ve said this for years. I’ve always wondered what the hell he does with his in game scribble notes.
