Opponents: Able to convert 3rd down and keep drives alive because they more often than not have 3rd and short yardage.
Hawks: Not able to sustain drives because lack of conversion on 3rd down. Attribute this to consistently having 3rd and long due to running draw plays on 2nd and long.
Summary: Defense is on the field too long and becomes worn down, while our offense cannot score. We lost against average to above average opponents.
Solution: More aggressive play calling on 1st down and/or 2nd and long. This will come from change; either in personnel, philosophy, or strategy.
