Really poor performances from white, woodbury, and jok. But theres no way that defender was straigt up and down on white, after that wrap around pass from uthoff, in overtime.
Idk but im tired of fran allowing so many scoring droughts to occur without adapting strategy. Should have been getting uthoff in the middle of the zone. Not sure if i should be looking forward to next season, Even if the freshmen can make hawks a better team fran has shown he cant consistently outcoach inferior opponents down the stretch. Its almost as if he loses his teams interest or effort, idk maybe his antics in practice wears them down.

That #22 is a hack, he fouled on nearly every possession. This officiating in this game was an absolute travesty. Either they got paid off or they were home town refs. In addition to them somehow not calling the mildcats at all they called JO on a complete garbage bail out call where he did not even touch the guy. That resulted in 2 mildcat free throws. The incorrect call on the mildcat 3, where the player had his foot on the line was also inexcusable. I saw that his foot was on the line in real time play, the refs had the advantage of playback and still somehow got it wrong. Those are 3 points that would have made the difference in regulation. Iowa should send an official protest to the Big 10 conference over the officiating in this game. Iowa played hard enough to win, and it just sickens me that the officials did what they did in this game.

Hawks stopped being aggressive after the 1st 5 mins of 2nd half. That's why no fouls were called.
Hey stupid linus, did I post that we lost cuz of the refs, I made an observation, how many times have you seen a team not make a foul in big 10 bball for 15 minutes,
The hawks were lackluster in the first half and non-aggressive the whole game, but there was I am sure one or two fouls in there.
I didnt say the refs lost the game, did I. Tell me did I say that????

I'm sorry...the officials were not great...but NW was 1 and FREAKING 10.
If fouls are 30-0 against Iowa...we should still beat that team by 10.

They pack in the zone and we have no one who drove at all. We also didn't get it inside that much, that's why they stopped fouling. In some ways, us getting open looks from three killed us. I felt like we looked to it too much. Our strength against the zone has always been our passing. Minnesota scared us or something because they were in position every time we made good passes.
I don't get how we can shred Maryland with smart play and then go completely away from it two games later.
